self portrait

As usual, assignments in figure or portrait classes always seem to have self portraits involved. It must be some kind of test... or punishment. Either way, this was (believe it or not) the best photo I was able to get at the time. I look very spaced out and tired... which is actually true, but still makes me look terrible. This is done with pastels once again. Its incredible how color can be pushed in and be so pure where you lay it down because the pigment concentration is so high. Enjoy!
